The buildings that slow you down, found and cleaned up.
Demo
Z-ARK is required. Z-Clean only runs with Z-ARK, our free server manager: Z-ARK installs the plugin, renews its licence every day, and the map and the clean-up are Z-ARK screens. Without Z-ARK, the licence expires within 7 days and the clean-up stops (nothing is deleted).
What it looks like in Z-ARK
The whole cluster at once: decaying, ownerless, spam and abandoned drafts, each cluster of pieces with its tribe, server and position, ticked before anything is destroyed:
The clean-up settings, per server: automatic clean-up (off by default), days away per material, grace days and protected tribes:
Z-Clean looks at the whole cluster at once: what is decaying, ownerless, spammed to block, or left as an abandoned draft.
- Each cluster of pieces shows on the map, in Z-ARK
- Nothing is destroyed without your say: a preview first, and the automatic clean-up is off by default
- The world is saved before every pass
- Protected tribes are never touched, and a tribe Z-Clean has never seen playing is never touched by the clean-up
Requires Z-ARK (free)
Z-Clean works with Z-ARK, our free server manager: the map and the clean-up are Z-ARK screens. Z-ARK installs the plugin from its dashboard, keeps its licence check up to date on its own and fetches each new version.

- Licence: €3 / 3 months or €10 / year — https://z-ark.fr/en/#pricing
Compatibility
ARK: Survival Ascended dedicated servers on Windows. Built and tested against AsaApi 2.03.
External connections and data
- No network connection of its own. Z-Clean opens no connection and sends nothing anywhere: no web request, no telemetry, no update check.
- Licence check, done on your machine. The paid functions run only with a valid
licence.zarkfile in the plugin folder. Z-ARK writes it: a pass signed (Ed25519) for this machine, valid 7 days and renewed every day. The plugin checks the signature itself, offline, with a public key built in. To match the machine it reads the WindowsMachineGuid(registry, read-only), and it writeslicence.statenext to it (the latest date seen, to detect a clock moved back). Without a valid pass the paid functions stop and say why in the log and inZClean.Status; nothing is deleted and the server keeps running. - Files written, in its own folder:
activity.json(the last time each tribe was seen playing: tribe id and date),decay.jsonandrapport.json(the last scan: clusters of pieces per tribe, with position and counts). - Files read: its own
config.jsonandlicence.zark; with the optional cluster activity, theactivity.jsonof the other maps' Z-Clean folders (read-only), so a tribe playing on another map is not counted as gone. - No game hook, no external program started, no other data collected.
Dependencies and limitations
- Requires Z-ARK (free) and a Z-ARK licence; the map and the clean-up are Z-ARK screens.
- It destroys structures, so it is built to be careful: a preview first, the world saved before every pass, small slices so the server never freezes, protected tribes never touched, automatic clean-up off by default.
Built with AI, knowingly
Z-ARK and its plugins were written with an artificial intelligence, by someone from the trade who decides every feature, reviews it and tests it on a real cluster with real players before it reaches you.
