  Z-MESSAGES — WRITING STYLED MESSAGES
================================================================================

  Z-Messages is also a MESSAGE PUBLISHER for other plugins.

  Any plugin — including one that is not ours — can hand its text to
  Z-Messages instead of talking to the game itself. It gets colours,
  emotes, images, a free sender name (no "(SERVER):" prefix in front of
  every line), and the choice between the chat and the top of the screen.

  If Z-Messages is NOT installed, the calling plugin automatically falls
  back to the game's ordinary message. Nothing breaks, it is just plainer.

  Everything below can be written by hand in this plugin's config file,
  and by any plugin that publishes through Z-Messages.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1. COLOUR
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Named colours — the simplest way:

      {red} {green} {blue} {yellow} {orange}
      {purple} {cyan} {white} {grey} {black}

      Example:  Welcome {green}Rex{/}, have fun!
                -> the name in green, the rest normal.

  An exact shade, when a named colour is not enough:

      {color:60,140,255}

      Three numbers, in this order: red, green, blue.
      Each one goes from 0 (none) to 255 (full).
        255,255,255 = white     0,0,0 = black
        128,128,128 = medium grey
      You rarely need this — the named colours above cover most cases.

  The short form {c:60,140,255} still works. It is the same thing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2. BACK TO NORMAL — {/}
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  {/} does NOT mean "close the last tag". It means "everything back to
  normal", whatever was opened before.

      {blue}Careful{/} everyone
      -> "Careful" in blue, "everyone" in the message's normal colour.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  3. EMOTES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      {smile} {wink} {laugh} {evil} {sad} {eyes} {tongue} {blank}

      Example:  Server restart in 5 minutes {wink}

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4. IMAGES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Any game texture can be shown inside a line:

      {img:/Game/PrimalEarth/CoreBlueprints/Items/.../MyIcon.MyIcon}

  The path is the one the game uses internally, ending with the asset name
  repeated after a dot. An unknown path simply shows nothing — it never
  breaks the message.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  5. WHAT APPLIES TO THE WHOLE MESSAGE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  These are NOT written inside the text. They are settings next to it,
  because the game applies them to the whole message at once.

      Size 1 = normal size (the default)
                    1.4 = 40% bigger
                    2   = twice as big
                    0.8 = 20% smaller
                    In short: 1 is normal, above is bigger, below is smaller.
                    Only applies to the top of the screen.

      Duration how many seconds it stays on screen.
                    Only applies to the top of the screen.

      Where the chat (stays in the history, the player can scroll
                    back to it), the top of the screen (impossible to miss,
                    but it disappears), or the warning panel (section 6).

  The top of the screen does not read styling: colours, emotes and images
  are removed there rather than shown as raw text.

  The top of the screen holds ONE line. Its frame does not grow with the
  text, so a longer sentence would spill outside the border and look broken.
  Keep it short — about 80 characters.

  A longer message is sent to the chat instead, automatically. A message
  shown somewhere else is better than a message shown half.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6. THE WARNING PANEL
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  A titled panel in the middle of the screen. It is the only display in the
  game built for SEVERAL lines: it wraps on its own, stays centred, keeps
  accented characters, and closes by itself.

  The player cannot dismiss it with a key press. That is exactly the point —
  and exactly why it should stay rare. Keep it for warnings and sanctions.

  Cutting off someone's view is a form of pressure, and pressure wears out.
  A rule warning earns it. A "you gained a level" message does not. Use the
  top of the screen or the chat for everything else.

  With no title of its own, the panel carries the sender name, so it speaks
  with the same voice as the chat lines.

  Styling is not read here either: write plain sentences.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  7. WHAT THE GAME CANNOT DO
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Bold, italic and underline are NOT available. Tested in game on a real
  server: the game does not know these tags and would print them as plain
  text in the middle of your sentence.

  Accented and special characters DO work: "Père Noël", "Créés", "Œuf",
  French quotes and long dashes all display correctly. Write naturally.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8. READY-TO-COPY EXAMPLES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Welcome:
      Welcome {green}{player}{/} {smile} ! Type {yellow}/info{/} to see
      the rates and the commands.

  Restart warning:
      {red}Server restart in 5 minutes.{/} Park your dinos and log out
      safely.

  Event:
      {cyan}WEEKEND BOOST{/} {wink} Harvest and XP are {yellow}doubled{/}
      until Monday morning.

  Discreet reminder:
      {grey}Reminder: type /info at any time to see the server rates.{/}

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  IMPORTANT FOR TRANSLATORS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  The tags are SYNTAX, not words. Never translate them.
  {red} stays {red} in every language — translating it to {rot} or {rouge}
  would break every message on the server.
  Translate the sentences around them, never what is inside the braces.
