Where is the lag on your map? TRB_LagFinder scans every live actor on the map (structures, turrets, crop plots, storage, tamed, wild and baby dinos, eggs, dropped items, death bags, bodies and players) and shows you the heaviest hotspots and the heaviest tribes, colour-coded red, orange and white by severity. Then /lagfinder tp takes you straight there.
What you get
Built to stay out of the way
Works with any plugins. It runs fine on its own; TRB_Core is optional and never required (with Core it uses the shared worker and scheduler instead of its own). Pairs well with the free TRB_PluginProfiler and TRB_PluginConflictDetector.
Commands (admin only: /lagfinder in chat, lagfinder in console or RCON): scan, top, tribes, classes, cell <#>, tribe <id or name>, tp <#>, report, stop, stats, selftest, help
Install: Extract the zip and copy its ArkApi folder into your server's ShooterGame/Binaries/Win64 folder, so the plugin ends up in ArkApi/Plugins/TRB_LagFinder. Run plugins.load TRB_LagFinder (or restart the server), then type /lagfinder scan in game as admin. Every config key is explained in the included README.md.
No network access and no telemetry. Free, ASE only, ArkServerApi 3.56.

What you get
- /lagfinder scan, then /lagfinder top: the heaviest map cells with lat/lon, owner tribe and counts per kind. Owned load is ranked above wild spawns.
- /lagfinder tribes: totals per tribe (or solo player), their worst spot and each owner's top actor classes.
- /lagfinder cell <#> and /lagfinder tribe <id or name> for the details, and /lagfinder classes for the heaviest actor classes.
- /lagfinder tp <#> lands you on the ground at a hotspot (can be turned off).
- Optional scheduled scans (ScheduledScanMinutes), with results in the log.
- Results appear only on the calling admin's screen, never in public chat. RCON gets text, and the full report goes to report.txt and report.json.
Built to stay out of the way
- Read-only: it changes nothing in the world.
- Built not to lag the server it's checking: the scan runs in tiny game-thread slices (0.4 ms per tick by default), pauses around world saves and long frames, and does the grouping, ranking and file writing on a background thread.
- Nothing runs between scans: 0.00 ms/s.
- A full scan of about 30,700 actors with 30 simulated players online took 9.5 s, averaging 0.41 ms of game-thread time per tick (worst tick 1.4 ms). The server stayed at 29.7 fps with no hitches. (Measured on our 2 vCPU test VPS with TRB_PluginProfiler.)
