Find out which plugin is actually costing your server frame time. TRB_PluginProfiler is a low-overhead sampling profiler. It charges game-thread time to each plugin, to ArkApi, or to the game/engine itself, and also tracks the CPU each plugin uses on its own background threads.
What you get
Includes TRB Monitor, a free desktop overlay that shows live per-plugin stats over RCON (Windows, unsigned; see its README).
Commands (admin only; /perf in chat, perf in console or RCON): perf [min], hitches [n], saves, suspends, memory, core, report, reset, enable, help
Install: Extract the zip and copy its ArkApi folder into your server's ShooterGame/Binaries/Win64 folder, so the plugin ends up in ArkApi/Plugins/TRB_PluginProfiler. Run plugins.load TRB_PluginProfiler (or restart the server), wait about a minute, then type /perf. TRB Monitor is in the TRB_Monitor folder; see its README to connect it.
No network access and no telemetry. Free, ASE only, ArkServerApi 3.56.
What you get
- /perf [minutes] shows ms per second for each plugin, colour-coded by severity.
- /perf hitches lists frames over 100 ms with their main cause.
- /perf saves shows how long every world save took.
- /perf suspends, /perf memory and /perf core show the profiler's own overhead, memory use and TRB_Core stats.
- Reports are written to report.txt and report.json.
- On-screen output is visible only to the admin who asked.
- It pauses the game thread for only microseconds per sample, and skips sampling during world saves.
- A watchdog backs off sampling, or turns it off, on slow hosts.
- With TRB_Core loaded, report writing moves off the game thread entirely.
- It survived repeated plugin unload and reload cycles while sampling.
