I'd like to share Cerious-AASM, a free, open-source server management application for ARK: Survival Ascended, available for Windows, Linux, Docker, and Unraid.

Cerious-AASM provides a modern web-based interface for managing ARK servers, clusters, configurations, mods, backups, scheduled tasks, and more.

With the release of v1.3.0, Cerious-AASM now includes a fully distributed mesh architecture, allowing administrators to manage multiple machines across different networks and geographic locations as a single environment.

Key Features

Server Management

  • Create, configure, start, stop, and restart ARK: Survival Ascended servers.
  • Manage multiple servers and clusters from a single interface.
  • Configure server settings, mods, and scheduled tasks.
  • Automated backups and server monitoring.
  • Modern web-based administration interface.
Distributed Mesh (New in v1.3.0)
  • Connect multiple Cerious-AASM installations into a unified mesh.
  • Manage servers across all connected machines from any node.
  • No dedicated master server or single point of management failure.
  • Distributed user accounts, permissions, and configuration synchronization.
  • Cross-machine ARK cluster synchronization without requiring shared network storage.
  • Transfer entire server installations between machines.
  • Distributed backup protection and coordinated maintenance.
  • Automatic leader election and quorum-based coordination.
Each machine operates independently, so if one machine becomes unavailable, the other machines and their game servers continue running. Shared management operations remain available when the mesh retains quorum.

The mesh can also span geographic locations. For example, servers hosted in North America and Europe can be managed through the same interface.

Platform Support
  • Windows
  • Linux
  • Docker
  • Unraid

Free and Open Source

Cerious-AASM is completely free and open source under the MIT license.

There are no subscriptions, licensing fees, or artificial server limits.

Whether you're hosting a single private server or managing a large, geographically distributed ARK cluster, Cerious-AASM is designed to simplify administration.
